Paint leaks

Paint may drip from the tip of the nozzle or leak from around the trigger button or handle.

1. If paint drips from the nozzle tip

・Needle condition

The needle may be dirty with paint or bent.

    Please check first.

    ・Needle position adjustment

      1. Remove the needle stopper and handle by turning them counterclockwise.

      2. Unscrew the needle retaining nut counterclockwise.

      3. The needle will be released, so move it back about 5 mm and then push it firmly forward again.

*Please be careful not to press too hard as this may damage the nozzle.

      4. Reassemble in the reverse order of disassembly, and securely tighten the needle fixing nut.

      3. Adjusting the needle stopper

      2. If paint leaks from the trigger or handle area

Use a flat head screwdriver to tighten the needle guide a little more. This will compress the needle guide gasket and make it fit snugly against the needle. This will often prevent leaks.

However, needle guide packings are consumables, so if leakage occurs even after tightening them tightly, we recommend replacing the packing.
